We buy from the United Arab Emirates, China and Türkiye, where the same specification can be met at a better price and a shorter lead time.
What protects a project is not the country a material comes from. It is what the material has to pass before it is allowed on a truck.
The supplier is qualified first
Test reports, previous supply references and factory capacity are reviewed before a supplier is priced into a package.
On file: supplier prequalification file, with the test certificates it was approved on.
The consultant approves the item
Every item goes on the submittal register. Nothing is ordered until it has been approved against the project specification.
On file: Material Approval Request, signed by the consultant before any order is placed.
Conformity is cleared before shipping
SABER product and shipment certificates are registered before the container sails. Material that reaches a Saudi port without them is re-exported.
On file: SABER product certificate and shipment certificate, dated before the bill of lading.
The delivery is checked at the gate
What arrives is verified against the approved submittal on arrival, not discovered to be wrong after it is installed.
On file: Material Inspection Request, raised at the gate and closed before anything is released to the crew.
